Philip Goldberg

Philip S. Goldberg (born August 1, 1956)〔date & year of birth according to LCNAF CIP data〕 is a senior United States diplomat and government official, currently serving as the United States Ambassador to the Philippines. He served previously as ''Charge d'Affaires'' and Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) at the U.S. Embassy in Santiago, Chile, Chief of Mission in Pristina, Kosovo, and as Ambassador to Bolivia. He was nominated on October 23, 2009 to be INR Assistant Secretary and confirmed by the Senate on February 9, 2010.

Goldberg is a native of Boston, Massachusetts〔(United States Department of State. "Biography of Philip S. Goldberg" September 22, 2006. ''Public domain.'' )
